Our 2025 Board Members
President & Founder
Sophia Campbell
Sophia Campbell is the founder of Readability. She is a pre-professional ballerina and full-time academic student in Potomac, MD. An avid reader and writer from an early age, Sophia is particularly fond of Greek mythology and the literary works of Rick Riordan. She has written and published three novels, most recently "She of the Shadows" (2024). Additionally, Sophia has performed in multiple professional productions at the Kennedy Center with American and international ballet companies.
Co-President
Noor Frisby
Noor Frisby is the Vice President of Readability. Noor has swum competitively since she was five years old. In addition to her athletic aspirations, she regards her academics with the utmost importance. Noor's passion for science and math has inspired her to teach underprivileged elementary students in order to expand their knowledge and interest in STEM. She has volunteered with her community's early childhood education programs for four years. Noor has received multiple awards for her exceptional community service. Her future professional aspirations are in veterinary medicine.
Vice President
Joanna Lizas
Joanna Lizas is a sophomore at St. John’s College High School in DC. She is a member of her local chapter of the Greek Orthodox Youth of America, and has participated in two summer mission trips to Appalachia where she repaired and renovated houses. In her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to music.
Secretary
Eva Veizis
Eva Veizis is the secretary of Readability. Eva is a varsity cross-country runner and track athlete who has attended several state competitions. As an academically-oriented student, Eva is passionate about science. This interest stems from her diagnosis with an autoimmune condition (Type 1 Diabetes) at a young age. Her experiences have allowed her to mentor others who have been recently diagnosed. Eva plans to pursue a career in the medical field.

Markos Campbell
Markos Campbell is a rising freshman at Winston Churchill High School. He is an avid basketball player and fan of his favorite teams. He is involved with his local chapter of the Greek Orthodox Youth of America, located in Bethesda.
Creative Director
Elsie Leung
Elsie Leung is a junior at St. John’s College High School in DC. She is a competitive swimmer and avid volunteer at her local nursing home in Potomac Maryland. Elsie has a passion for art, and loves to draw and paint in her free time. Some of her work can be found at the Highlandtown Art Gallery in Baltimore. She hopes to merge her creativity with her passion to help others to make a difference!
Marketing Director
Aya Zemrani
Aya Zemrani is a high school junior who has spent a majority of her life creating art. She shares her artwork on the social media platforms of TikTok and Instagram, where she has amassed over 580,000 combined followers. She loves the band Boygenius and likes to read in her free time! She also enjoys impressionist artwork and frequently visits the National Gallery of Art. Aya has done previous marketing work at student-led nonprofits and hopes to pursue marketing/business administration in university.
Outreach Director
Anya Nagpal
Anya Nagpal is a sophomore at Winston Churchill High School. She enjoys cheerleading, writing, and volunteering in her community. When she's not studying or cheering, she spends time enjoying the beauty of nature. She also likes socializing with friends and reading new books.
Director of Technology
Suki Lin
Suki Lin is a sophomore at Winston Churchill High School. She passionate about both her academic endeavors and her commitment to volleyball. She plays for both the school and club volleyball team while serving as a volleyball team manager. Suki has experiences working with young children through tutoring underprivileged youth, being a summer camp counselor, and actively participating in community-based volunteer work. She enjoys listening to music, baking, and exploring new hobbies.
Director of Communications
Cailey Harrington
Cailey Harrington is the Director of Communications of Readability. She enjoys working with children and has spent the past four summers volunteering at a local preschool. In addition, Cailey has assisted with elementary school STEM programs. She is a member of her school newspaper as a published writer as well as a promotions and subscriptions manager. Cailey has swum competitively since she was 5 and is an active participant of her swim team community. She enjoys baking, cooking, and reading.
Director of Advocacy
Derek Yang
Derek attends Winston Churchill High School. He performs and competes in classical piano, both as a soloist and with a chamber group. He is dedicated to spreading mental health awareness as part of Churchill's UMTTR club and financial literacy with a student-run campaign project. In his free time, he loves to listen to music, bake, and watch TV. He aspires to become a doctor and is in the process of becoming a state registered CNA.

Nilaya Mijangos
Nilaya Mijangos is a senior at Richard Montgomery High School. She hosts a podcast focused on mental health and leads a book club at her school, where she shares her love of reading with others. In her free time, Nilaya volunteers at a local hospital and enjoys hiking outdoors. She is passionate about connecting with people and giving back to her community.

Bonnee Song
Bonnee Song is a junior at San Gabriel High School in California. She is an active writer and member of her school's speech and debate team, as well as the school newspaper. In her free time, she enjoys reading poetry, knitting, and petting people's dogs.
